12/10/07 - Long Overdue Update

There haven't been any updates in a while because September was quite a slow month for us, but things are being planned, and we've got a lot on the horizon.
For those of you who still have the patience, the EP is, as always, nearing completion. We're currently working on some concepts for the artwork, and once they are in place and the last few vocal lines have been recorded it will be ready. We are hoping this will be on 21st December to coincide with our first gig in a while. But as with all the "Release Dates" you've heard over the past 6 months, don't hold your breath.
We are currently planning a bunch of gigs in January with our friends in Seiren. You can get information on these from our myspace page as the gigs section of the site is currently undergoing maintenance. The gig we have booked for December will be the first one we've played in a while, and will contain several new songs alongside the songs from the new EP.
If you're a regular visitor to our myspace (or even just myspace in general given Power's shameless spamming) then you'll have heard about the compilation that's currently being put together. There's a lot of good local bands on the CD and it's gonna be cheap so well worth a look.

24/08/07 - Recording: Part IV

We've just wrapped up another bunch of recording sessions, and touch wood we should have a few finished tracks in 2-3 weeks. If you head over to our myspace page then there is a new preview of the EP on there, and a short form you can fill in to receive an advanced copy of From Ashes Born for free.
Once the songs are finished we will resume gigging again. We're eager to get out and play our new songs, so if you know anywhere that will let us play, let us know.

23/07/07 - Recording: Part III

Things have been dragging along nicely with our recording sessions. We've been having them fairly regularly to try and get the E.P. finished. All the guitars have now been recorded and all the bass tracks were done yesterday. We now just have some vocal parts to add, and our group vocals, then we can begin mixing.

19/06/07 - Recording: Part II

We've just wrapped up our second session at Redbridge for the recording of our next EP. Most of the guitars have been done, and most of Stez's vocals too.
We also took the opportunity to start working on some new songs while we there, and hopefully these will appear at gigs in the near future.

11/06/07 - New Website Online

After realising that it is going to take longer than originally thought to finish our second EP, I decided not to hold the website back to coincide with it. Please drop me an email or a message on the forum if you notice anything wrong with the site.
If you are using Internet Explorer to view this site then you will need at least version 7. If windows will not let you upgrade to version 7 (windows 2000 and below) then you can get firefox.
Details of the last 2 gigs the band played are in the gigs section, and pictures from them will be coming soon.
We are heading back into the studio this weekend to get some more tracks recorded, hopefully we should have at least one song to share with you by next week.

26/05/07 - Recording: Part I

Our May recording session is now complete, we have done the guitars for a couple of songs, and the bass for another couple, and we will be returning to the studio in June to complete the next parts. I have a couple of instrumental demos that I will be sending out to the mailing list, so if you're interested in them then click on the contact page and sign up to the mailing list.

25/05/07 - First Update

Not quite daily, but when are my updates ever on time. The band have finished recording drums, and have started the guitars on 'I Am The Six Million Dollar Man'. It's already sounding infinitely better than our first CD, and we are all looking forward to getting it finished and letting you hear it.

22/05/07 - Don't Worry (Yes I Know You Weren't)

We haven't disappeared, but have just been working hard to get our songs ready for recording. We're almost ready now, despite songs that have been in our set list for months being changed at the last minute, and we go in to the studio tomorrow to begin recording. As with last time I will post regular updates here in case anyone wants to know what's going on.
At the moment the EP is tentatively titled 'From Ashes Born', and although I can't see this changing over the next 4 days, nothing is sacred when Power's around.
We have two gigs booked for June, you can find the details for these on our myspace page.
And on a final note as soon as all the details for the new EP are final then I will upload the new website.

02/04/07 - EPs, Websites & Other People's Songs

The studio time mentioned in previous updates has now been booked in for the end of May, so hopefully our second E.P. will be around shortly after that.
The new website is coming along, and if all goes to plan then it will go online around the same time that the E.P. is finished.
The band have begun working on another cover song to play live. They have chosen 'Young And Aspiring' by 'Underoath'. Look out for this at future gigs.

12/03/07 - ...Honest

Unfortunately the studio time that we had booked for this month has had to be postponed, we are looking to get in during May, and will keep you updated.
I'm sure you'll all be devastated to know that the message board is going to be out of action as of today as part of the major website upgrade I am doing.

09/02/07 - Coming Soon...

We have booked some studio time for mid march to beginning the recording of our next CD. We don't anticipate that it will be finished in that session, but we hope to get back in shortly after to that to finish it up and have it ready before the end of April.
I have begun working on a new layout for the website, so if you think anything about the current one is lame then now would be the time to tell me so i don't include it in the new one. It is a big change from the current one, and is proving to be quite difficult to work out, so don't expect it anytime soon.

29/01/07 - Gigs & Stuff

We have a gig booked at short notice next Friday (2nd Feb) at Bar Fever in Wigan. We hope to see you there. And we have another one booked for March too.
The gigs section of the website hasn't been updated for a while, so until I can get it up to date, be sure to check our Myspace page for any upcoming gigs.
We are currently looking into booking some studio time over the next few months so that we can get another CD together. Currently we intend this to contain five new tracks that are a vast improvement on the last five.

09/01/07 - Happy New Year

There is another new demo version of an untitled song available on the "Home Recordings" section of the downloads page.
The band have begun working on their first ever cover song that they intend to play live. They have chosen 'This Could Be Anywhere In The World' by 'Alexisonfire'.
